WLSA has taken up this action under the provisions of Section 15(2) of the Malawi Constitution. Should the court rule that WLSA has standing, arguments on the merits of the case will then be presented before the court. SALC was admitted as amicus curiae in the matter. SALC’s submissions to the court highlight the importance of the case before the court for Malawi's efforts to address HIV.
